Live Music Restaurants in Atlanta
Growing up around musicians and even playing a couple of instruments, I have always been a fan of live R&B and soul bands. Mixing it with a nice lounge, food, and/or cocktails makes for a nice birthday celebration or date night.

Apache Cafe 393 Marietta St NW 30313
Apache hosts a weekly open Indie Music mic night. The doors open at 8 pm, and the show starts at 9. Apache currently uses food trucks and food vendors. You may bring in your own food if you want. Picnic baskets, to-go food, or similar are allowed. Bring your own utensils and napkins.
Kat’s Cafe 970 Piedmont Ave Atlanta GA 30309
There is live music just about every night. Thursday and Saturday are popular nights. Seating is limited as this is a smaller venue. If you can make reservations do so. Sometimes there is a cover charge. Call ahead.

Soul food mixed with live entertainment. There is also an Atlanta Airport location.
Suite Lounge 375 Luckie Street Atlanta, Georgia 30313
There is a live band for dinner until about 11 pm. Afterward, it turns into a party with bottle service. Parking is available on the street behind or in parking lots around the front. If you want to stay for the party, sign up for free entry until 11 pm.
BQE Lounge 262 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta
Known for some classic food such as Red Velvet Waffles and Chicken. This lounge has rotating bands on Sat nights. There is a $5 entertainment fee. As a bonus tip, Thursdays are known as Retox Thursdays; specials include $5 food and drink specials.
